This is the gift guide that covers everything from the baker to the cute kids! See below for my favorite things (all tried and tested among my family members) and best gift ideas for 2025.

For the Bakers
This is one of my most favorite gadgets because it makes baking a little extra fun, and my kids are transfixed by it! You can use it to evenly flour a surface, or to evenly flour your bread during the preparation and baking process. It is also easy to use, easy to clean, and is a nice, inexpensive gift that will go a long way.
This is also known as the best pan for making large flour tortillas! It is large enough (13″) to be able to make large tortillas, but also small enough to still fit on one burner. It also works as a generic griddle as well, that you can cook with, as well as heat things up on.
This is a great cast iron tortilla press that is commonly on sale, close to $20. It is cast iron, and works great to make taco-sized tortillas. (~4 of the tortillas formed on this press can be cooked at the same time on the griddle pan above!)
The butterfly pea powder makes a really fun kitchen addition for people who like to bake breads, and cakes, and things like that. It adds a bit of color and fun, while it is a clean product that just contains that one ingredient. (This company also has an additional assortment of colors available on their Amazon site.)
Help your baker to ditch the foil, ditch the extra scrubbing of pans, and to use these silicone baking mats instead. They make life so much easier, and are so easy to clean (by hand or in the dishwasher).
These are just a few of my favorite finds from this year, but if you would like to see the kitchen products that I use and love and recommend, you can check them out HERE.
For the Sourdough Enthusiasts
I tried two starters before this one and could never get the flavor that I wanted. However, the Sourdough Mama has an awesome starter that you can buy, and gift/mail to anyone, where it arrives as a dehydrated product that takes about a week to bring back to life with water and flour, and is ready to use and has the best sourdough flavor!
This is a very heavy pan, but it cooks sourdough wonderfully! You cook it initially closed with the lid on, and for the last portion, you take the lid off and turn it upside down and it ends up being the bottom of the pan when you return it to the oven to cook the final portion.
This is the perfect solution to wasting tons of parchment paper, and also really helps with the crust development and evenness while baking. You can also base the shape of the bread mat you purchase on the pan used to bake the bread in.
Sourdough can be as easy as you make it! Gift your sourdough enthusiast, or future sourdough enthusiast, some of these bowls, where they can use them to do everything: mix the dough, allow it to rise, perform the stretch and folds, etc.
For the Health-Conscious Readers
This book is incredible, as it is written by a doctor that has not only studied Alzheimer’s for over 30 years, but has implemented programs to both stall and reverse Alzheimer’s in patients. This was eye-opening for me, and the entire time I was reading it, I wish I had known sooner to be able to help one of my family members that had a long struggle with Alzheimer’s.
This book removes all the dietary stigmas, and tells you straight up which foods you should/shouldn’t be eating, and why, and how they directly affect your health.
This was one of the first books I read that explained how gluten affects your body, and it was jaw dropping! This would be a great gift for someone into health, looking for a healthier lifestyle or maybe just trying to make good dietary choices for their kids’ school lunches.
The Encyclopedia of Natural Medicine
This is a huge book that is full of natural remedies, including everything from coughs to rashes to migraines. It has so many sections that cover what causes the issue and how to treat it. It’s a great book to just have around for when something comes up.
The Produce Nerd’s Grocery Guide
I couldn’t forget to recommend my own book! This is an awesome compilation of input from 26 crop-specific companies that covers how to select, store and prepare 55 of your favorite produce items!
For the Women
I will say good things about this online workout program for as long as I can! I started using this when I was pregnant with my first baby over seven years ago, throughout two different pregnancies and postpartum, and now 5.5 years after having my second baby, I am still using it and thriving! (You can read my full review of why I love this program so much and recommend it to every woman I know HERE.)
This is one of the best memoirs I have ever read. And yes, she’s Beyonce’s mom (so all of the Beyonce fans are going to want to read this!), but she’s also a sharp business woman who explains how she navigated through life and found success for herself.
Give her the gift of being able to better take care of herself and her body. This book is full of tips and tricks to help anyone take better care of their lymphatic system. I personally bought this a few months ago and have used it to do different lymph massages multiple times per week since.
This is an all natural chapstick that actually works! It’s also under $10, and lasts a long time. There are multiple flavor options, but my favorite (and a safe neutral flavor for gifting) is the wild honey.
I’m not one to promote too many sweets, but if you are going to eat or give sweets, they should be homemade with good ingredients, or they should be See’s Candies! When I was younger, my grandma would get gifted so many of these Nuts & Chews boxes every Christmas, that my childhood Christmas memories basically all consist of her and I sitting around her table eating the boxes of Nuts & Chews all December long!
You could get her anything from printed pictures, to a photo book (my favorite!), to a calendar for next year, to a pillow printed out with her favorite people or pets, and she will love it! You cannot go wrong with Shutterfly gifts because you are the one personalizing them! (Just make sure to place your order no later than December 16th to not have to pay extra for the holiday rush shipping.)
For the Men
My husband has been an avid Yeti fan for many years, and he thinks that this new, ceramic offering is just the greatest for coffee drinkers because he says that coffee always tastes better when you drink it out of ceramic cups!
I love the idea of this book! If you know someone who is itching for adventure or curious about where to travel to next, this is a great gift idea! There’s always more to discover, and you never know, this just might inspire their next trip!
For the guy that likes to work outside, or go fishing, or even just go for a walk, these hats are a great option for him! I love the men’s hat offerings that they have, as they are both cute and functional. They provide sun protection, without looking silly. This is the exact hat that I bought for my husband a few years ago that he uses while mowing the lawn and when he goes fishing.
These hats are great for everyone, from guys that enjoy the outdoors and need a light while camping, hunting or fishing, to those that just enjoy to go out for an early morning or late night walk or run.
Innova OBD2 Bidirectional Scan Tool
For the DIYers that love to be in the garage (and also save some money), this would be a great tool for them, as it can be used to help diagnose car issues without having to always go to the auto shop (and pay the diagnostic fees).
For the Kids
These bikes are awesome and make it so easy for kids to learn to bike, including without training wheels! They are lightweight, brake like adult bikes, make it easy to find the right size for your child, are made in the U.S., and they come with a 1-year money back guarantee! (You can read my full review on these bikes HERE.)
We do bikes by day, and light up scooters by night (especially during the fall/winter time when the sun goes down a lot earlier). These scooters make the nighttime outings a lot more exciting for the kids, as they have multiple different light up options (the rainbow option is our favorite!) that work very well, and even help light up the path.
If your kids get sucked into the Crocs craze, at least make them as cute as possible! Our favorites this year were these Monster Crocs and the Glitter Crocs.
The hats for kids from the San Diego Hat Company are the cutest, have wide brims to protect from more sun than a baseball hat, and have wide size ranges so that the hat you buy will keep working as your child’s head grows bigger. We have tried 4 different kids’ styles from them, and have thoroughly enjoyed them all. Our current favorites are the light pink and blue options in this hat style.
I can’t tell you a kid that doesn’t love playing with magna tiles! These are super fun, allow kids to be as creative as they would like, and are even fun for adults to play too! Honestly, my kids have been gifted multiple different types, but it doesn’t really matter which one you gift because if kids already have them at home, all of the brands and kits all fit together so they can mix-and-match.
As much as kids seem to enjoy presents, they never really seem to pay attention to size and cost. This is the perfect example. If you gift children playing cards, they might not be the winner of the day, but they just might be the winner of the year because they can play different games with them over and over again throughout the year. And if you really want to peak their interest, you can continue to play cards with them and introduce new games to them.
Here’s another really economical option that kids love! The books come with outlines of different objects on one page, a page full of different-shaped stickers on another page, and they are all numbered so that the kids can find where the different shapes go, and at the end, with have created a really cool picture! They have many different versions of the paint by stickers (you can see them all HERE), including some holiday specific ones. (In addition to a holiday gift, these might come in handy if you need something to help pass the time while traveling this holiday season!)
My kids recently got this as a birthday present and after all the shiny toys wore off, we spent hours that night making balloon creatures! And then, we proceeded to keep making them when we woke up! This is a really fun gift for the kids, and I really enjoy playing with it as well!
If you are looking to intentionally lighten your toxin load and find something practical for your thirsty kids, this water bottle is as basic as it gets: just plain stainless steel and bamboo, it’s easy for kids to open and close, and it doesn’t leak! (The 16 oz would be a good size for 5+, while the 12 oz would be a better option for 4 years old and younger.)
Books have been the greatest blessing for my kids and for me to get to read to my kids. I always encourage books because if you find a good book, you never only read it once! Here’s a list of some of our favorites to browse through.
For Little Girls (Specifically)
This brush has really been a game changer for us and really helps with the detangling, without the tears! Little girls will love the color and the style, and be even more impressed when it doesn’t hurt as bad to brush through their hair (especially if they have any curl in it).
This is another economical option for a little ballerina. Little girls love dance, and whether they just want to play dress up for fun or if they have to meet the outfit requirements of a new dance class, this brand provides some great options at great prices. There are plenty of different packages and colors to choose from as well!
If they want to get all dolled up, why not let them?! In this case, this brand of nail polish is one of the lesser toxic options, offers great colors, and it seems to last just as long as the “regular nail polish” with all of the extra chemicals in it.
This little pack looks overwhelming, but once you get started on a project, there’s no stopping! If you want to bedazzle anything from a piece of paper to a purse to a hat, this pack works wonders! And, kids can do it on their own (the younger ones might need help with the glue to start, but they can do it)! It’s also less than $10!
Fancy Nancy is a super fun character that is really into being fancy, but is also very well behaved and a good role model for little girls reading the stories. We personally love Fancy Nancy, and she’s been one of our favorite book characters for the past few years!
Do you remember this from when you were younger?! My daughter was gifted one of these this year and was mesmerized by it, and was so intrigued to keep trying until she got it. It’s definitely a fun tool to help get/keep your kids interested while playing outside.
For Little Boys (Specifically)
This was the biggest hit this year for my little boy. He had never had an outdoor remote controlled anything, and this was something new for him that he really enjoyed and has consistently played with for the past 8 months. Another great option for getting kids excited for playing outdoors, it comes with 2 batteries with pretty good battery life and that can be charged, and is super durable (ours was driven into a lake and still works!).
This is such a cool gift for little car/truck lovers. It starts out looking like a semi truck toy, that then converts into a race track. It’s so much fun and can be played with individually or with others.
For the little boys obsessed with Hot Wheels, this is a fun little gift for them, and a nice storage idea for their parents to enjoy! This suitcase can store 100 Hot Wheels cars, and serves as a great organizational tool, while also being a fun suitcase for the kids!
For the Babies/Toddlers
These things are so fun with little ones, from about 10 months up to when they outgrow them (maybe 3-4)! Kids can be pushed around in these, can get out and push it themselves, can store their drinks and snacks in it, and can even give it a good old car wash! I used this with my nephews years ago, and then with my kids now, and all of them love this thing!
This truck is so much fun for little ones. It makes noises, helps teach them the difference between trash, recycle and compost, and the yellow reach arm moves up and down, which will keep them entertained for a good while!
The best way to get your kids to keep their hats on when they get older, is to start them young! These super cute hats from San Diego Hats help with just that!
Sandra Boynton Books
Sandra Boynton has a ton of books for toddlers that have great illustrations, rhymes, and even more exciting when you read them to your little one following the beat of the rhymes! Moo, Baa, La la la and Snuggle Puppy might have tied for our favorites!
English/Spanish Food & Kitchen Picture Book
This book contains 96 different words and images related to the most common food and kitchen items that your little one will encounter. This is a great start to introduce the words that go along with what the kids are noticing, as well as to help them learn the words in both languages.
My First English/Spanish Picture Book
This book is an expanded version of the previously mentioned book, and includes 200 words of the most common items your baby will encounter, including food, colors, shapes, vehicles and more! Even before kids can talk, they love to flip through these books and point at the images, so you can tell them the names. And even better, you can teach them these words in both English and Spanish!
I hope this guide was helpful, and even more so, I hope you all have a very wonderful and blessed Christmas season!
